The Rotary Club of Montreal has raised $360 at the Salvation Army Xmas Kettle Campaign.

The Rotary Club of Montreal has been implicated in the Kettle Campaign for The Salvation Army in Montreal for about 10 years. This year, $360 was raised at the Kettle location at Saint Catherine St and Union Ave. In the city of Montreal over $203,000 was raised in the 2018 Christmas Kettle campaign supported by many employees and myriad volunteers. Across Quebec over $300,000 was raised for the Salvation Army's family and community services programs that operate in each of the communities that participated in the campaign. Across the country $23.1 million was raised to help support the work of The Salvation Army in over 400 communities. The funds raised in Montreal, will go directly to Community and Family services programs including food bank services and a Mobile feeding canteen, In addition, the funds are also used to support Back to School programs, Give a Coat campaign and other programs designed to help people and families through a tough time and get back on their feet.
