A Message from Our President
Dear friends,
This year's Rotary theme is "Create Lasting Impact": a call to action for all of us to work together and be a force for unity in a world too often divided. Rotary's goal is to inspire 1.2 million volunteers to meet community needs and build a brighter future, by uniting people from all backgrounds around a shared purpose: doing good in the world.
The members of the Rotary Club of Montreal and I are committed to increasing our impact and building new partnerships, both in Greater Montreal and internationally. Internationally, our work has focused on water, health (podiatry) and women's issues, including reducing gender-based discrimination. Locally, we help fight food insecurity alongside food banks and support youth groups. I am convinced there are many more opportunities still to explore.
Do you have an idea to propose? This year, we want to welcome new members, strengthen our connection with young people and increase our visibility in the community. Together, we will continue to be People of Action, and to carry forward our proud tradition of more than 113 years of service in Greater Montreal. I invite you to be inspired, and to inspire others.
